Goldey-Beacom's strong week on the athletics circuit saw six of its student-athletes picked for weekly awards from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

Marta Lopez (Valencia, Spain) was named the Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week with fellow senior Cliona Crammond (Wicklow, Ireland) and freshman Melayna Immediato (Hockessin, DE) picked to the Weekly Honor Roll.  Freshman Maria Bruno (Maracay, Venezuela) was tabbed the Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week, junior Nicolas Jaramillo (Cali, Colombia) was named to the Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll and senior Jono Hooper (Brisbane, Australia) made the Men's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll.

Lopez went 2-0 last week with three saves over 157 minutes.  She came up with two saves Wednesday in Goldey-Beacom's 2-0 upset of No. 12 East Stroudsburg and then had one save over 68 minutes Saturday in her team's 6-0 triumph against Felician.

Crammond closed with two goals and an assist Saturday.  She tallied two second-half goals to put the game out of reach and then for good measure, had the corner kick that set up Immediato's fourth goal of the season.

Crammond now stands tied for fifth in team history with 55 points, sixth outright with 21 goals and tied for seventh with 13 assists.

Immediato had two goals and an assist over two games.  She scored Wednesday against East Stroudsburg and then had a goal and an assist Saturday vs. Felician.  Immediato, who was named the league's Player and Rookie of the Week last week, has scored a goal in all four games this season.

Bruno went 2-0 in her debut match for Goldey-Beacom, which notched a 7-0 victory Wednesday over Millersville.  She opened at No. 2 doubles, teaming with Silvia Hortelano Pey to notch a 6-0 victory.  Bruno then played at third singles, rolling to a 6-1, 6-1 triumph over Megan Rovenolt.

Jaramillo scored three goals last week, including two huge markers Saturday against Felician that led to a big win.  With GBC down 2-1 in the 80th minute, Jaramillo took a pass from sophomore Eduardo Coimbra (Curitiba, Brazil) and buried a 10-yard shot inside the right post for a tie game.  Jaramillo then netted his third of the season, taking a pass from senior Chahin Aghrim (Bonn, Germany) and firing home a 10-yard shot in the 83rd minute for the lead.

Hooper ended 10th for Goldey-Beacom at the Dutchmen Invitational, closing the 8,000-meter run in 27:15.33.  It is the second straight week he has made the Weekly Honor Roll.
