The upcoming arrival of Winter Storm Jonas has forced Goldey-Beacom's basketball teams to rearrange their schedules for this weekend.
The squad's home doubleheader Saturday against Dominican (NY) has been postponed to Thursday, February 11. Please note the women's game at the Jones Center in Wilmington, DE will be played at 5:00 pm and the men's contest is at 7:00 pm.
Those games will conclude what now is a four-game homestand for each squad. That stretch begins January 30 against Nyack, continues February 3 vs. Holy Family and includes February 6 against Concordia (NY).
Before that, both teams will be on the road Tuesday for huge contests at Chestnut Hill. The women's squad (5-5 CACC) leads Chestnut Hill (4-5) by one-half game for third place in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference South Division. The men's team (5-5) leads Chestnut Hill (4-5) by one-half game for the fourth and final CACC Tournament spot from the South Division.
The women's game Tuesday is at 6:00 pm, followed by the men's 8:00 pm contest.
