Goldey-Beacom's basketball games against Wilmington (DE) as well as the ceremony for the inaugural William Conley Award have been postponed Tuesday due to inclement weather and re-scheduled for Wednesday at the Jones Center.
All start times remain the same. The women's game begins at 6:00 pm, the award ceremony starts at approximately 7:45 pm and the men's contest commences at approximately 8:00 pm.
The women (11-14, 10-6 CACC) as of Tuesday morning are fourth in the CACC South Division, 1 1/2 games in back of Holy Family (12-5) and 2 1/2 behind Philadelphia U. (12-3). The men (8-17, 5-11) need a victory to keep alive its hopes of making the conference tournament.
Before the men's game, GBC will be presenting former cross country coach Brian Conley with the William Conley Award. The award will be given annually to someone in athletics who has displayed courage, determination and perseverance the same way Conley has.
