Men's Basketball | 12/2/2015 12:00:00 AM
A double-dose of Goldey-Beacom goodwill will be on display Saturday, December 12 as a toy drive and "Camper Day" both will be celebrated during the College's basketball doubleheader.
Â
The events will take place during the afternoon's games against Georgian Court. The women's contest begins at 1:00 pm and the men's game starts at 3:00 pm.
Â
The toy drive will be held to help one of the local families, who recently lost their house due to a fire. The residents include two low-income single mothers who are sisters and live together with their combined eight children.  Six of the children have yet to reach high school.
Â
Fans are asked to please bring an unwrapped gift to the doubleheader to show support. A donation box also will be available to leave any monetary gifts.
Â
The men's basketball team later in the day will welcome all who participated in last summer's camps. The campers who attend will be registered to win a free week of camp for next summer. Other prizes also will be raffled and those in attendance will be recognized at halftime.
Â
Goldey-Beacom also encourages all to keep in mind the dates for the 2016 men's basketball summer camps. They will be held June 13-16, June 27-30, July 18-21 and July 25-28.
