BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Senior guard
Lorenzo Christmas (Norristown H.S./Norristown, Pa.) made 7 of 10 shots from the floor and scored a team-high 20 points as Bloomsburg University (14-8) extended its win streak to four games in a row with a 94-67 victory over Goldey-Beacom College (9-13) in a non-conference game at Nelson Field House on Wednesday evening.
Christmas, who scored 20 or more points for the fourth time this season, also connected on five of seven attempts from three-point range as the Huskies handed the Lightning their third loss in the last four games. With his five made three-point field goal attempts, Christmas set the Bloomsburg school record by making his 226th career three-point field goal.
After the teams traded baskets in the opening 51 seconds of the first half, the Huskies scored 22 of the next 24 points to take a commanding 24-4 lead with 12:23 remaining in the period. Christmas scored 8 of his 14 first half points during the run as the Huskies held Goldey-Beacom to just one field goal during that span.
The Huskies extended their advantage to 27 points at the end of the first half, taking a 55-28 advantage into the intermission.
Led by Christmas, Bloomsburg continued to increase its lead during the first seven minutes of the second half and held a 75-40 cushion with 13:19 remaining. From there, the Huskies never trailed by fewer than 19 points en route to securing the victory.

Dontahe Jordan (Williamsport H.S./Williamsport, Pa.) added his sixth "double double" of the season by scoring 16 points while matching his season high with 15 rebounds.

Robert Sweet (Rice-Manhattan Center H.S./New York, N.Y.) led the Lightning in the loss by scoring a season-high 30 points, making 9 of 14 field goal attempts, including a 7-for-9 effort from three-point range. He also converted five of six free throws with two rebounds.

The Lightning, who were playing their final non-conference game of the regular season, will continue their Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schedule on Saturday, Feb. 15 by traveling to Caldwell College for a 3 p.m. game against the Cougars.
