PHILADELPHIA – The Goldey-Beacom College men's and women's basketball teams head to the Campus Center in Philadelphia Thurs. night for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference doubleheader against Holy Family University.
The Lightning women take a 1-4 (0-1 CACC) record into tomorrow night's game having come up just short against the defending CACC champs, Philadelphia University on Tues. night, 71-69. They face a tough challenge in 4-1 (1-0) Holy Family. Tip-off is at 6 p.m.
The men will follow the conclusion of the women's game, with an estimated tip-off time of 8 p.m. GBC is coming off an impressive 68-55 win over the two-year reigning CACC champion Philadelphia University Rams. The Lightning (3-2, 1-0 CACC) look for their second straight win against the winless Tigers (0-5, 0-1 CACC).
