Wilmington, DE – Rams stay perfect in conference as Lightning say goodbye to four seniors

The Rams of Philadelphia University visited the Lightning for the final regular season game.  The first half seemed as though the battle between the two would be long and great.  As the half closed to an end the Rams took the lead and kept the Lightning at bay with the first half score of 32 to 23 in the Rams favor.

The Rams in the second half started to run away the game but the Lightning struck back and was able to keep the game close in the end.  The Lightning were defeated 62-58 by the end of the game.  The Lightning finished the regular season 16-11 overall and 8-8 in the CACC.

Though the Lightning say goodbye to seniors Miroslaw Babiarz, Devon Valentine, Maurice Maxwell, and Derek Savage the Lightning, including the seniors, are not done for the season.  The Lightning go on to the post season for the CACC Championship.  Their next game will be on Saturday, March 1st at Holy Family University against the Tigers.
