Wilmington, DE – Lightning Win Over Cross Town Rival Wilmington University.

The Lightning Men stepped onto the Wildcats court with one purpose.  Defeat them in their house as they defeated us in ours.  With that in mind, the Lightning took control of the game early on.  With the largest lead of the first half being 15 points the Lightning left the first half with the score of 44-32.  Maurice Maxwell led the Lightning in the first half with 12 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block.  Derek Savage added 10 rebounds and 9 points while Adrian Miles knocked down 11 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. 

The second half was a one sided game with the Lightning dominating the game.  The Lightning defeated the Wildcats 81-64.  Senior Derek Savage dropped a double - double with 22 points 18 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block and 1 steal while Sophomore Adrian Miles put up 22 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals.
