Philadelphia, Pa – Men's basketball falls to Chestnut Hill

On Thursday evening, the Goldey-Beacom College men's basketball team tipped off against the Chestnut Hill College Griffins in Philadelphia.  The Lightning jumped out to an early 5-point lead to start the first half, behind Darrell Johnson's 10 points, but found themselves behind 25-21 to at half. 

The second half was a struggle for the Lightning as they saw the Griffins increase their lead to ten points.  Even with 9-point second half from Adrian Miles, the Lightning could not cut the lead and fell to the Griffins in 60-51. 

Darrell Johnson led the team with 15 points; Adrian Miles contributed 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals, while Kyle White added 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The Lightning will next travel to Bloomsburg University on Sunday, December 14, 2008 for a 3:00pm game.
