John Hill

John Hill is in his fourth hird season as an assistant coach for Goldey-Beacom.
 
Hill entered after service as head coach at Elizabeth City University, where eight of the program’s 12 players made the CIAA Academic Honor Roll.  The team in 2017-18 recorded a 76-67 victory over Division I Norfolk State.  He also recruited and mentored Zach Hobbs, who was the 2018 CIAA Rookie of the Year.
 
Hill also coached from 2010-16 at Lincoln (PA) University, winning the CIAA North Division title in 2013 in a season which it defeated Division I Howard.  The program that year won 17 games for its first winning season in 15 years.  The Lions also notched 20 wins in 2013-14 and 16 victories in 2014-15.  Hill also was on the NCAA Advisory Ranking Committee from 2014-16.
 
He also was an assistant coach at Elizabeth City from 2006-10 and at California (PA) from 2005-06 after he was a head coach at Virginia State from 2002-05.  Hill also was the women’s basketball coach at Saint Paul’s College (VA) from 1998-2002.
 
Hill also was the interim head coach and assistant coach at Winston-Salem State from 1995-98 as well as an assistant coach at Kean from 1993-95.
 
Hill received his B.S. in Sociology and Psychology from Greensboro College, an M.S. in Adult Education from North Carolina A&T University and an M.S. in Sport Management from California (PA) University.
