Senior forward Irene Hudson led the Lightning women's basketball team to a 4-2 record in the month of December, including a perfect 4-0 record against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference opponents. She was the Lightning's second-leading scorer with an 11.7 average while also grabbing 4.3 rebounds per game.
Hudson, who scored in double figures in four of the Lightning's six games, had 15 points in a loss at Molloy on Dec. 12 after making 5 of 14 field goal attempts in addition to going 5-for-10 from the foul line.
In the Lightning's win at Wilmington on Dec. 10, the Syracuse, N.Y. native made 7 of 11 field goal attempts en route to a 14-point performance. She also had six rebounds in the 84-53 victory.
Hudson also scored 11 points with five rebounds in a win over Georgian Court on Dec. 4 and had 13 points in a loss against 18th-ranked Shaw on Dec. 28.
The Lightning's second-leading scorer this season with an 11.7 average, Hudson leads the Lightning with a .472 field goal percentage. She also ranks third on the team by grabbing 4.9 rebounds per game.
