Goldey-Beacom opens the season February 20 at Tusculum as part of its five-game stay in Greeneville, TN.


Sophomore outfielder Charlee King (New Castle, DE), picked second team All-CACC last season, will be one of the key players this year for the Lightning after making 32 of her starts in center field.  One of five players in 2014 for GBC to start all 41 games, King ended third on the team with a .315 batting average, third with 35 hits, tied for fourth with six doubles and second with 21 RBI.
 
Sophomore Paulynn Mao (Anaheim, CA) also had an impressive debut campaign in 2014, closing fourth on the team with a .300 batting average, fifth with 30 hits, tied for first with seven doubles and fourth with 17 RBI.  She is one of three returnees who started all 41 games last season and she also started 19 games at second base.
 
Asia Ellis (Marlton, NJ) is GBC's lone senior and also serves as president of the college's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).  She also started all 41 games last season, ending seventh on the team with 24 hits.
