Big victories for both of Goldey-Beacom's basketball teams on Tuesday were the perfect recipe for a combined three players to be selected to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

Senior Lillian Chukwueze (Cherry Hill, NJ) and freshman Lexi Bruno (Millville, NJ) from the women's squad was honored along with sophomore Sameen Swint (Sicklerville, NJ) from the men's team.

Chukwueze scored 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting to go with 12 rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block in Goldey-Beacom's 86-75 victory Tuesday over Chestnut Hill.  The victory moved GBC (7-11, 6-3 CACC) within two games of U. of the Sciences for first place in the CACC South Division and was the squad's seventh win in its last 12 outings.

Chukwueze, who now has been picked to the honor roll three times this season and five for her career, is sixth in the CACC with 14.5 points per game, 12th with 8.0 rebounds per contest, 14th with a .412 shooting percentage and 22nd with 1.4 steals per game.

Bruno again was on a tear, closing with 14 points, six rebounds, five assists, three steals and two 3-pointers Tuesday.  She now has scored in double figures 14 times this season, including the last 12 games, and now has been picked to the weekly honor roll twice to go with her two Rookie-of-the-Week honors.

Bruno is 10th in the league with 14.1 points per game, fifth with 4.2 assists per contest, 10th with 1.9 steals per game, eighth with 1.8 three-pointers per game (33 total) and seventh with a .375 three-point percentage.  As of last week's NCAA statistics, she was 29th in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.02:1) and 70th in assists per game.

Swint scored 17 points to go with four assists, two 3-pointers, a rebound and a steal in Tuesday's 71-58 victory over Chestnut Hill.  The 2014 Commonwealth Conference Rookie of the Year with Albright, Swint has averaged 18.3 points over his last three contests and has scored in double figures five times this season.

The victory moved Goldey-Beacom (6-10, 3-5 CACC) into fourth place in the CACC South Division.  The top four teams in each of the two divisions advance to the conference tournament.

Both teams are in action Wednesday at U. of the Sciences.  The women's game in Philadelphia starts at 6:00 pm and the men's contest begins at 8:00 pm.
