Volleyball's McCoy Garners Fourth CACC Weekly Award

McCoy Named to Honorable Mention List for Third Time this Season



New  Haven, Conn.-  Lightning Women's Volleyball senior, Kadi McCoy (Dallastown H.S./Dallastown, Pa.), has been named honorable mention player of the week for the week ending October 28th, it has been announced by CACC officials.

In a 1-2 week for the Lightning, McCoy lead the squad by tallying 44 kills and 40 digs for the week. Twenty-one of her kills came in a five-set win over Concordia College on Saturday afternoon. It was also a special day for McCoy, after posting 11 digs, McCoy racked up her 1,000th career dig and became the first player in GBC history to post 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs.

This is the 4th time McCoy has received notice from the conference, her last nod was for player of the week honors for the week ending October 13th.

The Lightning, who posted a five set win over Concordia on Saturday will look to continue their winning ways as the host CACC opponent, Georgian Court University this evening at 7:00 PM. Live stats for tonight's match can be seen by clicking here.
