WILMINGTON, Del. - The ticket prices for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's basketball quarterfinal game between Goldey-Beacom College and Post University have been determined, it has been announced by Director of Athletics
Chuck Hammond.
Tickets for Saturday's game, which is slated for a 2 p.m. tip-off at the Joseph West Jones College Center, will cost six dollars ($6) for adults and three dollars ($3) for students, senior citizens and children between the ages of 3 and 12 years old. Children under the age of three years old will be admitted.
In addition, the Goldey-Beacom College Department of Athletics will provide free admission to all Goldey-Beacom students who present a
valid Goldey-Beacom College identification card at the ticket table along with a free slice of pizza.
Currently 19-9 on the season, the Lightning will be trying to reach the CACC semifinals for the third time in the last four years and reach the 20-win plateau for the first time in school history. Meanwhile, Post will enter Saturday's quarterfinal with an 11-15 overall record, but the Eagles will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak.
Saturday's game will be the second meeting between the two teams this season. On Jan. 26, senior guard
Devonne Richardson (Milford Mill Academy/Baltimore, Md.) recorded the first "triple double" in school history with 14 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 12 assists as the Lightning earned a 68-45 victory over the Eagles at the Jones Center.
The winner of Saturday's game will advance to the CACC semifinals on Friday, Mar. 8 and will face the winner of the quarterfinal game between Philadelphia University and Caldwell College.
