NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Redshirt freshman
Ariel Richardson (St. George's Tech H.S./New Castle, Del.) of the Goldey-Beacom College women's cross country team has been named as an honor roll selection for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference weekly awards for the week ending Oct. 20, it has been announced by CACC officials.
It is the first time Richardson has been recognized by the CACC in her career.
Richardson,, who has been the Lightning's top finisher in all but one meet this year, led the Lightning women's cross country team to a sixth place finish at the Hood College Open on Saturday. She completed the 6K course in a time of 25 minutes, 54 seconds to earn a seventh place effort.
Richardson and the Lightning will compete at the 2013 CACC Championship on Sunday, Oct. 27 at Belmont Plateau at 10:45 a.m.
