NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Sophomore
Logan Jones (Tuscarora H.S./Frederick, Md.) of the Goldey-Beacom College men's cross country team has been named as an honor roll selection for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference weekly awards for the week ending Oct. 20, it has been announced by CACC officials.
It is the second time Jones has been recognized by the CACC in his career. He was named as the CACC Rookie of the Week last year after leading the Lightning at the University of Delaware Blue and Gold Classic.
Jones led the Lightning to a fourth place finish at the Hood College Open on Saturday afternoon. He earned his best individual finish of the season with a third place effort after crossing the finish line in 27 minutes, 48 seconds.
Jones and the Lightning will compete at the 2013 CACC Championship on Sunday, Oct. 27 at Belmont Plateau at 10:45 a.m.
