CACC Weekly Cross Country Awards Release: Sept. 18, 2012
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior
Felicia Justice (Clearfield H.S./West Point, Utah) of Goldey-Beacom College has been named as the recipient of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's cross country Rookie of the Week award for the week ending Sept. 16, it has been announced by CACC officials.
Making her cross country debut, Justice posted a time of 23 minutes, 48 seconds to finish in 15th place out of 41 runners in the 5K race.
A former member of the Lightning women's soccer team, Justice joined the cross country team after playing in 41 games over three seasons. She scored three goals in her career at Goldey-Beacom, including a pair of markers last year.
Justice and the Lightning will compete at the Philadelphia Metro Classic on Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m.
