NEW HAVEN, Conn. - For the third consecutive season, the Goldey-Beacom College men's soccer team has been named as the recipient of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Team Sportsmanship Award, it has been announced by CACC officials.
"As a coach, I take pride in my team's behavior on and off the field," Coach
Ryan Dixon said. "With the difficulties of a rebuilding year, it is nice for the team to be recognized for the way they conduct themselves on the field."
The Lightning were called for 22 yellow cards in 18 matches this season, which are the third-fewest in the CACC. Dominican College and Philadelphia University led the CACC with the fewest yellow cards this year, receiving 20 cautions each.
Led by junior forward
