NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Freshman Marcus Porter, a Wilmington, Del. native out of local Howard High, has been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men's basketball rookie of the week for his performance in the week ending Jan 15.

Porter contributed 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in a 75-61 win over University of the Sciences.  This is Porter's third Roookie of the Week award this season.
