PIKE CREEK, Del. – The Goldey-Beacom College volleyball team challenged the alumni to an exhibition game at the Joseph West Jones Center on Thurs. night.
The Alumni team consisted of the following former Lightning volleyball players: Danielle Hicks, Loria Bafundo, Michelle Tobiason, Melissa Sabol, Christine Hudock and Shana Doran.
Head coach Rich Bowers’ young, but promising squad lost the first two sets, 25-20 and 25-21, but came back to win the third in dominating fashion, 25-15.
GBC will take on Cecil College in two pre-season scrimmages. The first is at Cecil on Sat. at 11 a.m., and the second will take place in the Jones Center on Tues. at 6 p.m.
