GBC Student-Athletes Receive Academic Honors

Wilmington, DE – Four Goldey-Beacom College student-athletes have selected by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to the All-Academic team for the 2009 spring athletic season.
Softball senior Danielle Hufford (Smyrna, DE / St. Thomas More HS) and junior Kim Narkiewicz (Shamong, NJ / Seneca Valley HS) were both honored for the second year, while graduate student Justin Grossman (Dover, DE / St. Thomas More HS) and sophomore John Marsteller (Rising Sun, MD / Rising Sun HS) were selected from the Golf team.
In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic team, recipients must have participated in a spring CACC-sponsored championship sport, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher through the preceding semester.
