The GBC men's soccer team has had its best season since 2003 when the Lightning captured the CACC Championship. With back-to-back wins in their last two games, and a Caldwell loss today, the Lightning have clinched the eighth spot and earned a berth in the 2009 CACC Tournament.

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – By virtue of a Caldwell loss today at Dominican College, the Goldey-Beacom College men's soccer team has clinched the eighth and final spot in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference playoffs next week. The Lightning's season finale tomorrow, Fri. at 3 p.m. against Concordia will have no bearing on their final standing.

GBC is led by head coach Dr. Michael Finizio and the outstanding play of the senior class which includes: Mike Bather, captain Chris Steele, captain David Nimroozi, Angel Rodriguez and Justin Enloe-Hamill.
