PIKE CREEK, Del. – Head coach Jerry Grasso announced Thurs., June 17 two additions to the Goldey-Beacom College softball team. Michelle Foster (Overbrook High School) and Ashley Zaccaria (Gloucester City High School) have committed to GBC to join the Lightning for the 2011 season.

PIKE CREEK, Del. – Goldey-Beacom College’s athletic teams had a very successful 2009-10 academic year. Eight of GBC’s 10 teams had a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and the school’s student-athletes collectively earned a 3.25 GPA.

PIKE CREEK, Del. - After a 6-0 loss in game one, the Goldey-Beacom College softball team did all it could to send seniors Kim Narkiewicz and Lauren Witzke off with a victory in the nightcap at Nancy Churchman-Sawin Field Sat. afternoon, but the Lightning came up one run short, falling 6-5 to the No. 8 ranked team in the East Region, Dominican College.
